1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PixelToPdf service ("Service"), operated by the company identified below ("Company", "we", "us"), registered in Spain.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

3. Account registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. API usage and rate limits

Your use of the API is subject to the rate limits and usage quotas associated with your subscription plan. You agree not to:

  • Exceed the rate limits or credit quotas of your plan.
  • Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication mechanisms, or other security measures.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use automated systems to scrape, crawl, or extract data from non-public or authenticated areas of the Service beyond the intended API usage.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without prior written consent.

5. User content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service for conversion ("User Content"). You grant us a limited, temporary license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of performing the requested conversion.

User Content is automatically deleted within 1 hour after the conversion is completed. We do not review, analyze, or share your User Content for any purpose other than delivering the Service.

You are solely responsible for the legality and appropriateness of any content you submit. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to submit such content for processing.

6. Subscription plans and billing

The Service is offered under various subscription plans, including a free tier. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at the time of purchase.

  • Prices are displayed in USD and exclude applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
  • Subscription fees are charged in advance at the beginning of each billing cycle.
  • You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
  • Unused credits do not carry over between billing periods unless specified in your plan.

7. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is subject to their privacy policy and terms of service. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

8. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Upon cancellation:

  • Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • After expiration, your account will revert to the free tier.
  • We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods or unused credits.

We reserve the right to offer refunds on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

9. Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform scheduled maintenance, deploy updates, or experience downtime due to circumstances beyond our control.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its source code, design, documentation, branding, and all related materials, is the exclusive property of the Company and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements, that conversions will be error-free, or that the Service will be available at all times.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms or any applicable law.
  • Your usage poses a security risk to the Service or other users.
  • Your account has been inactive for an extended period.
  • We are required to do so by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections related to liability, indemnification, intellectual property, and governing law shall survive termination.

15. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

16. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the Service at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Valencia, Spain.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
